Interior Design Discipline Lead | Associate

Veronica McCracken Karr

NCIDQ

As MSR Design’s interior design discipline lead and a firm associate, Veronica believes that the most successful projects arise from an interdisciplinary approach. Working in a broad spectrum of scales, ranging from furniture and graphics to architectural and interior design, she is constantly toggling between the big picture concept and the fine details that, together, make a project remarkable. Veronica creates spaces that not only tread lightly on our environment and bodies, but also promote well-being. She is actively involved in organizations focused on these and other sustainable design issues, including as a member of the mindful MATERIALS (mM) AEC Catalyst Forum.

What or who inspires you and why?

Patricia Urquiola. All her work is thoughtful and beautiful, whether it is an object or architecture. She has a signature mark—always weaving technical and sustainable research with craftsmanship and innovation.
