Traci Engel Lesneski

CID, LEED AP, Associate AIA

President and CEO of MSR Design, Traci uses design as a tool for positive change for her clients and their communities. She equally values human well-being, building performance, aesthetics, and delight in her work. Recent projects Traci has led include Haverford College’s award-winning Visual Culture, Arts & Media (VCAM) adaptive reuse project and the new Missoula Public Library and Culture House—the first building in North America to be named Public Library of the Year by the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) and Systematic. Traci has made a name for herself as an inspiring designer and speaker, presenting workshops and discussions internationally on design.

How do you express yourself creatively?

I enjoy painting. I’m self-taught and it’s been a (humbling) journey learning to create the colors and textures I imagine—but it absolutely feeds my creative soul.
