Brett has a decade of experience working in Minneapolis, Chicago, and Berlin. He has worked on a wide range of scales and building types, from single-family houses and government headquarters to community centers and cemeteries. Brett also has a background in painting and sculpture as a studio artist. This experience has helped form his way of thinking related to making space, and he draws inspiration from other creative fields. Brett believes architecture plays an active part in the culture of healthy communities, which take pride in their buildings and spaces around them.
Outside the office, I enjoy getting my hands dirty in my studio, painting with (and without) my two kids, and woodworking. My other happy place is on the seat of a bicycle.
