    Previous Next
    • uninterrupted by walls, this open loft space offers a spectacular view from 80' of windows overlooking the riverfront
    • Overview

“From the minute you step through the Von Blons’ front door, the Mississippi seems almost within reach through 80 continuous feet of floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the river. . . . [Architect Tom] Meyer minimized the number of walls, orienting them perpendicular to the main bank of windows to avoid blocking the views. . . . [These] partition walls helped Meyer to balance their need for space to hang their [modern art] collection and their desire to always feel connected to the river.”—Jim Buchta, Star Tribune

Located within the restored National Historic Landmark Washburn A Mill Utility Building, this loft space offers spectacular views of the riverfront and plenty of daylight.
