    • Overview

“When [the owners] found this raw space on the west side of the Mississippi, they saw an opportunity to create a flexible gallery that would showcase their ever-changing collection while accommodating their family and social lives. . . . [Architect Tom] Meyer brought the gallery aesthetic into every aspect of the design, creating a flexible space that would showcase pieces while remaining livable.”
—Ivy Gracie, Twin Cities Luxury + Fashion

Located in the Stone Arch Lofts building, the loft features a spectacular view of the Mississippi River and Saint Anthony Falls. Reflecting the couple’s passion for art, the design offers a series of refined, museum-like spaces for displaying their collection. A structural glass stair serves as a focal point for the main living area and leads to a new penthouse expansion. The rooftop office opens onto a 1,300 square-foot terrace overlooking the river below.

    • the sculptural steel and glass stair is the centerpiece of the space
    • the monochromatic palette and Valcucine cabinetry of the kitchen complements the surrounding gallery-like spaces
    • an office, with custom millwork disguising a Murphy bed, doubles as a guest room
    • both public and private spaces provide a gallery-like setting for displaying the clients’ art collection
