Patrick Lynch, LEED AP
BiographyPatrick recently joined MSR and has more than six years of professional experience. After receiving a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Minnesota College of Design and a Master of Architecture and Master of Science in Design Research from the University of Michigan Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning, he worked for four years in the San Francisco Bay Area, most recently with Envelope Architecture + Design. Patrick has experience on a variety of project types, including commercial tenant improvements, residential renovations, furniture design, higher education, cultural institutions, and outdoor pavilions. His designs explore architecture‘s cultural agency and the potential for architecture to actively engage its context and the community, rather than be a passive bystander. He has experience with all phases of architectural projects, from predesign through construction documentation and administration. In addition to his professional practice, Patrick served as a lecturer at the University of California—Berkeley College of Environmental Design and graduate student instructor at the University of Michigan Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning.
