Emilie Kopp, Associate AIA
BiographyEmilie recently joined MSR after receiving her Master of Architecture from the University of Minnesota. She has three years of professional practice experience and has also served as a teaching assistant at the University of Minnesota. Emilie has received numerous honors and awards, including the University of Minnesota College of Design Richard Morrill Masters Final Project Award, Stanley and Dorris Moe Fellowship, and May Ohrbeck Painter Fellowship, as well as the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) Minnesota Student Honor Award. She has been involved in a variety of organizations and activities, including the Women in Architecture Nebraska Chapter, American Institute of Architects Students Nebraska Chapter, and THERE: Journal of Design, published by the University of Minnesota College of Design. While a student, Emilie also participated as part of an architectural drawings team on the Antiochia ad Cragum archaeological site in Turkey. Emilie also has a Bachelor of Science in Design–Architectural Studies, with minors in art and art history, from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.
