MS&R names new Senior Associate, Associates
MS&R is pleased to announce the promotions of architect Dan Vercruysse to Senior Associate status and of architects Allison Salzman and Byoungjin Lee and interior designer Steven Rothe to Associates. Congratulations to all four on this well-deserved recognition!
Dan Vercruysse, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, embodies design excellence. He merges the art of architecture and building technology to design buildings that are both aesthetically beautiful and technically sound, as evidenced by his work on the National AIA Honor Award-winning Urban Outfitters Corporate Campus. Dan’s deep interest in the future of the profession brings a critical point of view to our practice.
A newly-registered architect, Allison Salzman, AIA, LEED AP, contributes to the office through design excellence, the development of digital design tools, and a proven ability to successfully manage complex projects. Her recent work includes project management for the new Eastman Nature Center. In addition to professional practice, Allison teaches at the University of Minnesota College of Design.
Byoungjin Lee, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, brings a unique perspective on design to the office. He has contributed to many of our award-winning projects, including the Ramsey County Roseville Library, which was honored with an IIDA/Metropolis Smart Environments Award. His attitude of “bring it on” has resulted in an amazing trajectory of growth in the profession over the past few years.
Steven Rothe, CID, bridges the disciplines of architecture and interior design as a valued and talented team member. He brings excellence and rigor to all of his design work; many in the office look to him for guidance and he gladly offers his advice. His outstanding work on the McAllen Main Library was recently recognized with a prestigious ALA/IIDA Library Interior Design Award.
