MSR Design—a national award-winning, architecture and interior design firm headquartered in Minneapolis—is seeking multiple architects/designers with 6-8 years of experience and 3-6 years of experience to work on a wide variety of projects. We are looking to hire driven individuals who have a hunger for learning, strong technical skills in documentation and detailing, and a keen interest in design excellence as tracked through AIA’s 10 Framework for Design Excellence principles. Selected architects will be involved in projects, from concept design through construction completion. We are seeking self-motivated individuals who excel at working on multiple projects, will thrive in a collaborative studio culture, and have the capacity and desire to grow with MSR Design.

Required qualifications include the following: 3-10 years of experience; actively pursuing architecture licensure; high proficiency in computer modeling tools, including Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, and Enscape; strong verbal, written, and graphic skills to communicate and implement design principles.

Responsibilities of the role include the following: participate in all phases of architectural design, documentation, and construction administration of building projects; be responsible for daily design and technical development of projects; develop creative design concepts for projects; coordinate project design efforts; prepare presentation and design drawings; integrate external work into organized project deliverables; and follow MSR Design standards for documentation, technical specifications, and detailing.
